The coast north of Agadir is one of the most famous surf regions in Africa. The good news: most of the best spots are only a few minutes apart, so with a scooter you can check several breaks in one morning and surf wherever the conditions are best. Here are the spots our customers love most.

Spots close to Tamraght

Banana Point

Just south of Tamraght, near Aourir. A long right-hand point break that works best in winter swells. Good for intermediate surfers, and there are cafés right in front.

Devil’s Rock

A beach break at the bottom of Tamraght, very popular with surf schools. A great choice for beginners and for long sessions on a soft-top.

Imourane beach

A wide sandy beach between Tamraght and Taghazout with several peaks. Easy parking for your scooter and plenty of space in the water.

Spots around Taghazout

Taghazout is about 10 minutes north of Tamraght by scooter.

Anchor Point

The most famous wave of the area: a long right-hand point break for experienced surfers, best on big winter swells.

Hash Point and Panoramas

Right in Taghazout village. Panoramas is a fun beach and point combination that works on many swells, and the village is full of cafés for a break.

Killer Point

A bit north of Taghazout, reached by a track. A powerful wave for advanced surfers. Ride carefully on the last part of the road.

Tips for surfers on a scooter

  • Use a soft-board carrier or ride with a shortboard under your arm only if you feel very confident. For bigger boards, ask the surf camp to drive it.
  • Put your wax, leash, sunscreen and water in the top case.
  • Go early: the morning is usually less windy and the parking spots are free.
  • Ask us on WhatsApp which spot is working today, we check the waves every morning.
